Receiver Coffee is looking for a passionate, hardworking Baker to join our team at our Milky Way location in Charlottetown. Shifts start at 2 am, so this role is for someone who takes pride in setting the day up right before the city wakes up.

Milky Way is home to our organic artisanal bakery, where we bake breads, pastries, cookies, and more from scratch every single day using local and organic milled flours. Our baked goods have become a staple for locals and visitors across PEI, and the bakers are the folks bringing that to life!

What you'll be doing

• Baking and preparing breads, pastries, cookies, muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, and other house-made goods daily
• Measuring, mixing, shaping, and finishing products with consistency and care
• Setting up retail displays with attention to freshness and presentation
• Keeping the bakery station clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
• Contributing to kitchen operations as part of a small, collaborative team

What you bring

• Experience working as a baker in a commercial kitchen. We make everything from scratch, so hands-on experience with real dough, ingredients and technique is required
• Sound knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• A team-first attitude with genuine attention to detail
• Reliable personal transportation as shifts begin at 2am, and public transit is not available during working hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
