Are you a passionate Baker who loves all things about the industry?

We are looking for a capable all-rounder who has an extensive knowledge of scratch products and methods. The right candidate will know what great looks like, will enthusiastically work with the team to ensure the Bakery Department looks fantastic on a daily basis and will be keen to add value to our current bakery offering.

The role will consist of:

• Preparation and baking of bread doughs from scratch such as; breads, sourdoughs, pastries, pies, cakes and other baked goods.

• Working with ovens and provers
• Consistently producing quality goods
• Maintain and promote Food Safety and Health and Safety standards on a daily basis
• Maintain efficiency in daily production schedule as outlined by the Department Manager.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous bakery/supermarket experience or similar as a baker
• Qualification as a Baker or have commenced a Bakery apprenticeship
• Knowledge of scratch bread doughs and other baking lines.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety guidelines in NZ
