Duties and Responsibilities:

· Bake cakes and desserts as necessary as per the provided production sheets; assists in production planning to meet daily requirements.

· Ensures proper food preparation by utilising approved recipes, following prescribed production standards and use of proper equipment.

· Assists with the completion of production records to include stock/waste tracking and product shortages.

· Ensures proper presentation and food quality.

· Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within work area.

· Handles food items appropriately and with all safety regulations in mind during preparation and service.

· Cleans equipment and workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other tasks.

· Interacts with customers when other team members are busy and refers customer queries to the supervisor.

· Consistently shows the ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately and efficiently.

· Checks to ensure that all food is presented, served and displayed per standards.

· Follows the principles of health and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring company and OSH standards are followed.

· Completes scheduled work, as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with our standards.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.50 – $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
