Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our café team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and providing outstanding service to our customers.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and inventory management.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Proficiency in cash handling and retail math skills.
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
