Baker- Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in baking and food preparation. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, priorizing in bread and pastries and pensuring high-quality standards. Your creativity in cake decorating and knowledge of food safety practices will contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of products including breads, cakes, and desserts.
• prepare and bake sourdough bread and pastries
• Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers when needed.
• Follow recipes accurately while also being open to experimenting with new flavors and techniques.

Qualifications

• minimum of 5 years of experience in Baking industry is needed
• diploma in culinary, license and certification is an asset but will by highly considered
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Experience in cake decorating is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
