Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality products while adhering to food safety standards and providing excellent customer service. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Decorate cakes and other baked items with artistic flair while ensuring presentation meets our quality standards.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and texture.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Package finished products for display or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing any inquiries regarding baked goods.
• Collaborate with team members to create new recipes and improve existing offerings.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or as a baker is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with cake decorating techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• A passion for baking and creating high-quality products that delight customers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$23.96 per hour
