As Bakery Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the bakery, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and maintaining the high standards Jake's Bakery is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the bakery and retail area.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of bakery and front-of-house staff.
• Create staff rotas and manage scheduling.
• Ensure outstanding customer service at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and place supplier orders.
• Maintain food safety, HACCP, and health & safety standards.
• Manage cash handling and daily reconciliation.
• Work closely with the bakery production team to ensure product availability.
• Monitor sales and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new team members when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming bakery environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous management or supervisory experience in a bakery, café, food retail, or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A passion for food, customer service, and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends where required.

• Full-time
• 5 days per week

Experience

• Bakery, café, food retail, or hospitality management: 2 years preferred
• Customer service: 2 years preferred
