As an Associate in the Interentity Analysis Group, you will be responsible for legal entity controllership and advisory activities across the firm’s major legal entities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal entity controllership for major firm legal entities, including the Lead Bank, Parent Company, and Intermediate Holding Company (IHC).
- Advise businesses and govern firmwide inter-entity policies.
- Oversee activities booked in JPMC&Co, JPM Chase Holdings LLC, JPMIF, and Edge Chain subsidiaries.
- Own firmwide policies and governance frameworks, including Regulation W, Affiliate Support Documents (including intercompany guarantees), Legal Entity Reorganizations and Capital Actions (RCA), and the Regulation K Governance Framework.
- Partner globally across lines of business and functional support areas to review and approve LOB proposals and advise on regulatory, legal entity, capital, and investment considerations.
- Review RCA, ASD, NBIA, and Change Management transactions to ensure alignment with IAG policies and governance standards.
- Manage the end-to-end central Regulation W program, including weekly/quarterly analytics of covered transactions, recurring reporting, and key system/process enhancement projects.
- Support Regulation W governance, including committee meetings, LOB working groups, and department routines, and serve as the SME for approvals, reporting, FR Y-8 reporting, and LOB attestation processes.
- Maintain and enhance documentation for Regulation W processes, procedures, and policy, and strengthen controls to ensure audit-ready execution.
- Develop cross-LOB relationships and serve as the LOB point of contact for Regulation W system questions and enhancement requests, including reference data impacts on regulatory reporting.
Support IAG projects and ad-hoc requests, review and coach analysts, and lead strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and the control environment.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum 3 years Financial or regulatory reporting or policy experience
- Post graduate or Master's degree in Finance or related field of study
- Regulatory Reporting, Audit or Compliance background with strong analytical skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex intercompany transactions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including interaction with senior management, legal, Finance and compliance
- Ability to interpret and apply global regulatory requirements to business initiatives High attention to detail and commitment to process integrity and documentation standards
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage
