The Role: Foreign Exchange Banknote Dealer

We’re looking for a Foreign Exchange Banknote Dealer to help drive growth in both our internal and external customer base globally. Reporting to the Head of Whole Banknotes & Cash Operations, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the continuous supply of banknotes across different currencies to support network demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver on deadline driven trades across the Dealing Desk in line with service level agreements.
  • Reaccreditation of existing and the onboarding of new wholesale customers.
  • Smartly sourcing and repatriation of currencies to ensure appropriate vault inventory for current demands.
  • Build and maintain strong interdepartmental relationships such as Treasury and FX Risk for compliance.
  • Ownership of timely completion and lodgment of all Regulatory/Compliance reporting related to Wholesale banknote dealing.
  • Ongoing evaluation of wholesale pricing based on market conditions and customer requirements.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Detailed knowledge of the wholesale banknote market as well as general FX dealing systems and practices.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the Asia-Pacific market.
  • A proven track record of problem-solving in a fast paced market, focused on delivering sales in a competitive, high stakes environment.
  • Strong proficiency in stakeholder management backed with strong commercial acumen.
  • An ASIC Regulatory Guide 146 (RG 146) , preferably
