Duties

• Prepare banquet rooms by setting tables, arranging chairs, and ensuring all equipment is clean and functional for upcoming events
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, friendly manner, including wine and drink service with knowledge of proper etiquette
• Bus tables efficiently by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event
• Assist with food handling and food safety procedures to uphold health standards during service
• Support catering staff with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food assembly or garnishing
• Monitor guest relations during events, addressing requests promptly and ensuring a positive experience
• Maintain cleanliness of banquet areas before, during, and after events to ensure a welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred; experience in banquets or fine dining is a plus
• Strong guest service skills with the ability to engage positively and professionally with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food handling, beverage service, wine knowledge, and food safety standards
• Experience with catering operations or hotel/restaurant settings highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
