Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Banquet Server to join our hospitality team for a part time roll on weekends. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services during events, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees. This role involves serving food and beverages, assisting with event setup, and maintaining a high standard of food safety and cleanliness. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with a strong commitment to customer service and hospitality excellence. The Banquet Server plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and supporting the smooth operation of events.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements during banquets and events
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously, adhering to food safety standards
• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations
• Clear tables promptly and assist with cleanup after events
• Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout shifts
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless event execution
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures in accordance with industry standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality industry preferred
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and proper serving techniques
• Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based hours as needed
• Hotel experience or familiarity with large event settings is a plus
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
