Banquets Booking Coordinator

Experience - 5+ yrs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Handling:

o Attend to walk-in clients, phone inquiries, and online inquiries regarding banquet bookings.

o Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions for events such as weddings, corporate events, and parties.

o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

2. Negotiation & Closing:

o Negotiate pricing, packages, and terms with clients while ensuring profitability for the organization.

o Convince clients of the value and quality of the services provided.

o Finalize bookings and follow up on payments, contracts, and necessary documentation.

3. Menu & Décor Expertise:

o Be well-versed with the banquet’s menu options, food presentation, and customization possibilities.

o Guide clients on decoration themes, layouts, and additional services like lighting, sound, and seating arrangements.

o Coordinate with chefs and decorators to fulfill client requirements.

4. Event Coordination Support:

o Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the operations team for smooth event execution.

o Assist in creating event schedules and ensuring all preparations are on track.

5. Communication & Multilingual Proficiency:

o Effectively communicate with clients in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati to cater to a diverse clientele.

o Resolve client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.

6. Reporting & Follow-ups:

o Maintain detailed records of inquiries, bookings, payments, and feedback.

o Provide regular updates to management regarding client inquiries, bookings, and potential leads.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in banquet or event coordination roles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati.
  • Strong negotiation, convincing, and client-handling abilities.
  • Good knowledge of menus, food presentation, and event décor.
  • Proficient in using booking software, MS Office tools, and CRM systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Female candidate with a passion for client servicing and event coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Well-groomed and professional demeanor.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Compensation Package:

  • Commission pay

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Work Location: In person
