Bar Person

We are seeking a Bar Person to join The Rose Hotel team.

This role is mainly to work the evening shift both during the week and at weekends

Flexibility within the 2 bar outlets in the hotel is required - Dotts Bar and Lee Suite (Banqueting Suite).

The successful candidate will be serving drink only - no food skills required.

About The Role

• To provide service of drinks to all guests in Dotts Bar/Ros Bui and Banqueting areas
• To adhere to The Rose Hotel customer service standard
• To be knowledgeable in all aspects of drinks, to be able to make cocktails an advantage
• To ensure that Dotts Bar and Banqueting areas are set up to the agreed standard
• To ensure that the Dotts Bar and Banqueting areas are kept clean, tidy and free from hazards at all times
• To ensure that guests bills are correct and to ensure that all items served are included on the guest bill
• To ensure that all Dotts Bar and Banqueting equipment is kept clean and tidy and stored appropriately
• To ensure that adequate mis en place is completed for each shift
• To ensure that the glass wash area is kept clean and tidy at all times
• To ensure that all fridges are kept clean and tidy.
• To ensure that cleaning records are completed on a daily basis
• To ensure that the store room in the back of Dotts Bar is kept clean and tidy
• To complete all required training both inhouse and legislative.

Required Criteria

• Experience in cash handling and maximizing revenue through upselling.
• Ability to ensure guest bills are correct and inclusive of all items.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.
• High standard of personal hygiene and professional conduct.
• Willingness to accept a flexible work schedule.
