Job Summary:
BrookLodge & Macreddin Village is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Service Crew Member to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards.
- Take orders, process payments, and operate the till efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to licensing laws.
- Provide recommendations and upsell drinks and promotions where appropriate.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive guest experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in bar service and hospitality role is compulsory.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits is an advantage.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn.
- Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
