Bar Staff

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, a basic understanding of food safety, and a passion for bartending and hospitality.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths to process payments.
• Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when required.
• Uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all tasks.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred but not essential.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and providing help to customers in a friendly manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.47-£11.64 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
