Are you a passionate and experienced Bar Supervisor looking for a fresh opportunity in a dynamic, friendly, and supportive environment? The 4-star Maritime Hotel in Bantry, proudly certified as a Great Place to Work, is seeking a dedicated and service-driven individual to join our bar team.
If you bring at least 2 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced setting and love working with people, we’d love to hear from you!
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee bar operations, including stock ordering, receiving deliveries, and managing stock levels
- Handle cash reconciliation and ensure secure closing procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented bar area
- Serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, and coordinate timely delivery of bar food
- Ensure high and consistent standards of service are maintained
- Take accurate food and drink orders and coordinate with the kitchen and floor teams
- Lead by example in delivering a positive and welcoming experience for all guests
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience behind the bar in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Strong customer service skills and a guest-first attitude
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable leading a team and working collaboratively
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to maintaining a high-energy work environment
