Bar Supervisor- Full Time

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and experienced Full-Time Bartender Supervisor to join our team in Arlington. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone confident behind the bar who can lead by example, maintain high service standards, and support smooth day-to-day operations.

Role Description

As a Bartender Supervisor at The Arlington Hotel, you will play a key role in ensuring the bar operates efficiently and delivers an exceptional guest experience. You will support and guide the team during service, help train and mentor staff, and ensure all standards and procedures are followed. This is a hands-on position, combining excellent bartending skills with strong leadership and a focus on quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the bar team during service
• Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere
• Prepare and serve drinks to a high standard, following recipes and procedures
• Take and serve drink/food orders efficiently and accurately
• Check customer ID to comply with licensing laws and venue policies
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organisation of bar and service areas
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and restocking
• Handle payments and follow cash/till procedures
• Resolve customer issues professionally and escalate to management when required
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ bartending experience required
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Must be currently located in Ireland
• Must have legal right to work in Ireland
