Responsibilities

• Deliver professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
• Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening, offering expert advice, and maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items and styling tools to enhance the client experience and increase sales
• Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently
• Communicate clearly with clients about their desired looks and provide aftercare recommendations for continued satisfaction
• Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education

Experience

• Previous experience as a barber or stylist is preferred but not required; training opportunities are available for motivated individuals
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a professional manner
• Knowledge of hair styling techniques, sanitation procedures, and retail sales strategies
• Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss styles, treatments, and product recommendations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
