Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and payment transactions efficiently.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and making change accurately.
• Familiarity with cashiering and POS systems is an advantage.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is desirable.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.81-$26.71 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
