As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your role will be crucial in creating memorable experiences that keep our patrons coming back.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Skills

• Skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic maths skills for processing transactions and managing cash.
• Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
