Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring that each visit is enjoyable and memorable.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Assist with food preparation, including pastries and buns while following proper hygiene practices.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
