Job Overview

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and process payments accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils, adhering to food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
• Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food products served.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Sell retail products
• Prepare and roast coffee for coffee orders
• Operate coffee roasting equiptment

Requirements

• Two years barista experience
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
• Experience with cashiering and cash handling is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.55-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
