We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Barista & Counter Assistant to join our team at Food Crew Café located in the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

About the Role

As a Barista & Counter Assistant, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the café. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee, serving customers, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages
• Assist with food preparation and display of fresh products
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Operate the till and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Previous barista or café experience preferred, but not essential
• A positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• Good level of spoken English
