We are seeking a friendly and energetic Barista to join our Coffee Truck team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages to customers in a fast-paced, mobile environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages using standard recipes and equipment.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
• Manage customer orders accurately while providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck’s food prep and serving areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic retail math calculations.
• Restock supplies as needed and ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and serving.
• Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment for all patrons.
• Assist with food preparation when necessary, ensuring quality standards are met at all times.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or food service background preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience in the food industry, including serving, food safety practices, and basic math skills related to cashiering and retail transactions.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food handling procedures is advantageous but not mandatory. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about coffee, eager to deliver excellent customer experiences, and interested in working outdoors on a mobile café platform.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.24 per hour
