Job Title: All-Rounder Barista

Location: The Shed – Cypress Bowl Road, West Vancouver, BC

The Shed is a cozy, community-focused café and restaurant known for quality coffee, great food, and friendly service. Along with our specialty coffee program, we also serve a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and versatile team player who can jump in wherever needed — from crafting espresso drinks to serving alcohol and helping out front-of-house.

Position:
We are hiring an All-Rounder Barista to join our close-knit team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day, has strong people skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks
• Serve beer, wine, and cocktails responsibly
• Provide warm and welcoming customer service
• Assist with food prep and serving when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of café and work areas
• Operate POS system and handle cash/transactions
• Support team members in all areas as needed

Requirements:

• Previous barista experience preferred, but training available for the right person
• Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Positive, can-do attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
