Barista/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in customer service and food preparation will ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
• Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math for change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, assisting with restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Uphold all food handling and safety regulations to ensure the health and well-being of our customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food preparation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.57-$23.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

• Bonus pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
