Barista/Cashier

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing a variety of coffee and tea-based beverages. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food industry, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for creating delicious drinks.

Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and prepare beverages according to established recipes
- Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Stock and replenish supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions using a POS system
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on coffee blends and brewing techniques
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food service or retail industry
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends
- Familiarity with food handling and preparation procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
