Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring that all patrons receive exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently.
• Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to legal regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as necessary.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Uphold food safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills, able to provide help and support to customers effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
