Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a flair for creating exceptional customer experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to standard recipes, while also ensuring that the bar area is well-stocked and maintained. Your ability to engage with customers and provide excellent service will be key to enhancing their dining experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
• Assist in managing inventory by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced till.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality sector is preferred but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and bar equipment operation is advantageous.
• Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
• A commitment to food safety practices is essential, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times.

Pay: £12.00-£12.03 per hour
