Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar, and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders and making recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately to process transactions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist in catering events or banquets as needed, providing timely beverage service.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Keep inventory of bar supplies and assist in ordering as necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.28 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
