Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety and beverage preparation. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that their experience is enjoyable and memorable. You will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to standard recipes, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service practices.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during food and drink orders.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is crucial.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients.
• Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a friendly environment for guests.
• Proven bartending skills, including knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £12.50 per hour
