Bas Specialist (Project Manager Development Program)

The Role:  We are seeking ambitious and self-motivated individuals to join our Project Manager Development Program as a BAS Specialist. BAS Specialists will support the project team in the completion of projects. Your role will involve reviewing engineering specifications, completing shop drawings, programming, graphics and on-site commissioning.

The role is a career track to becoming a Project Manager at Setpoint. Project Managers at Setpoint are granted significant autonomy and are ultimately responsible for completing the entire scope of a BAS project.

Responsibilities

On-site Support

• Support installation crews with the installation and commissioning of projects
• Performing service calls for customers to troubleshoot BAS and software issues
• Deliver parts and materials as they are required

Engineering and Design

• Review mechanical drawings and project specifications
• Support Project Managers with the design of BAS systems
• Support the completion of Shop Drawings and As-Built documentation

Programming & Graphics

• Support Project Managers in programming BAS systems
• Support Project Managers in the creation of graphical interfaces for the BAS system

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mechanical or BAS systems
• A strong desire to develop and learn
• Has demonstrated a history of self-learning and self-improvement
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
• Knowledge of IT systems is a plus but not required
• A degree or certificate in mechanical systems, building automation, electrical systems or a related field is a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
