ControlChem is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our Burlington team in the water treatment industry. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing things accurately, enjoys solving problems, and works well in a hands-on industrial environment.

We are looking for someone who notices the small details, takes initiative, and can think critically to help maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality plant operations.

About the Role

After completing training, the Batch Maker / Labourer will support daily plant operations involving chemical blending, order processing, shipping and receiving, inventory organization, and general facility upkeep.

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
-Process water treatment chemical and equipment orders accurately and efficiently
-Blend and package water treatment chemicals according to procedures and specifications
-Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verification of incoming and outgoing materials
-Maintain organized inventory labelling and accurate inventory counts
-Identify inconsistencies, production issues, or safety concerns and take appropriate action
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
-Work collaboratively with team members to support production goals and operational efficiency
-Follow all company policies, ISO procedures, and health & safety requirements
-Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Training Provided

Successful candidates will receive training in

-Safe forklift operation
-WHMIS & TDG
-First Aid
-Fall Protection
-Batch processing operations and ISO procedures
-Shipping and receiving procedures, including tanker and transport handling

Tools & Equipment Used
-Forklift
-Industrial blending and packaging equipment

Working Conditions
Monday to Friday
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Occasional overtime and night shifts may be required
Industrial plant environment
In-person position located in Burlington, ON

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
