We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Battery Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing batteries across a variety of vehicles and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all battery systems operate safely and efficiently, contributing to the reliable performance of our clients’ vehicles and machinery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive electrical systems and mechanical components, providing essential support for vehicle maintenance and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and replace batteries in a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy machinery, following proper manual handling procedures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and schematics to accurately install and troubleshoot battery systems.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks related to electrical systems, ensuring proper connections and secure fittings.
• Diagnose issues with batteries or electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Follow safety protocols during installation processes to prevent accidents or damage to vehicle components.
• Assist with the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems associated with vehicle electrical setups.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and inspections for quality assurance and compliance purposes.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service or vehicle maintenance.
• Familiarity with schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques for automotive electrical systems.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices related to vehicle systems.
• Background in diesel mechanics or mechanical systems repair is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to handle manual tasks safely while adhering to safety standards for manual handling and vehicle maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in mechanical and electrical diagnostics.

Pay: $23.01 - $27.71 per hour
