An exciting opportunity has arisen within Jungheinrich Ireland for you to join our rapidly growing Aftersales Division as Battery/Charger Engineer.
The Role
The specific responsibility within this role includes supporting the aftersales team with servicing, maintenance of customer batteries, chargers and Electrical installations. This role incorporates the following:
- Responding to customer callouts
- Evaluating and resolving problems
- Assisting with the installation of equipment
- Liaising with and working alongside technical sales engineers
- Repairing, testing and maintaining equipment
- Monitoring the performance of products
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers
- Working with the company IT systems
The Person
We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills as well as proven ability to work as part of a team, with proven General/broad experience in an electrical / engineering role.
· Must be able to cope with a diverse range of tasks and workplace situations
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in progressing their career. While full training will be given, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar or related role.
Essential Qualifications / Skills:
- Must have related Trade Qualification & Certification in Electrical and Electronics disciplines. Fetac Level 6
- Computer Skills – Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Full Drivers licence
- Knowledge of relevant IT-systems within the area of responsibility.
- Health & safety compliance
- Use of diagnostic fault-finding equipment and IT capability essential
