Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis, particularly with children, and will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. This role requires expertise in data collection and analysis to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop effective intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities using electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with special education teams to ensure that behavioral goals are integrated into educational plans.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis and special education.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis related to behavior assessment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to patient care settings.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
- A background in special education is preferred but not mandatory.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- primary care and/or community based setting: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 2025-01-06
