Business Development Executive (BDE) - Cement Sales, typically focusing on dealer network management, project site visits, and target achievement. Job OverviewThe BDE - Cement Sales drives regional product sales by identifying new business opportunities, managing relationships with dealer networks, and promoting products directly to builders and contractors. Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Target Achievement: Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for volume and value, ensuring consistent market growth.
  • Dealer/Channel Management: Identify, appoint, and manage relationships with dealers, sub-dealers, and retailers to expand market reach.
  • Project Site Management: Visit construction sites, builders, contractors, consultants, and architects to convert leads and promote product usage.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to understand competitor activities, pricing trends, and new infrastructure projects.
  • Collection & Logistics: Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve customer complaints regarding product delivery or quality.
  • Product Promotion: Educate customers on cement technical aspects (OPC/PPC/53 Grade), product features, and current company schemes.
  • Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly sales reports, sales forecasts, and maintain MIS (Management Information Systems) for senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–5 years of experience in Sales, specifically in Construction Materials, Cement, RMC, TMT Bars, or Paints.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred: B.Tech Civil + MBA for premium companies).
  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge of MS Office & CRM tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Attributes: Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to travel extensively.
