Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive business growth for our travel company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving sales targets while promoting the company's travel products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the travel and tourism sector.
  • Generate leads through corporate clients, travel agents, B2B partners, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Promote domestic and international tour packages, hotel bookings, holiday packages, and travel-related services.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close business deals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with the operations and reservations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Attend travel exhibitions, networking events, and industry conferences to generate business.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans for management.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and after-sales support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Travel & Tourism, or a related field.
  • MBA in Marketing or Sales is preferred.
  • 4–8 years of experience in business development or sales within the travel, tourism, hospitality, or related industry.

  • Relationship management and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international travel products.
  • Strategic thinking and market analysis.
  • CRM and MS Office proficiency.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong network within the travel and tourism industry is an advantage.
  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and result-oriented.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per hour
