About the role

CPBS is seeking a Certified Behaviour Analyst for a full-time role with our forward-thinking and dedicated Early Childhood Supports team in the Western Melbourne region. As a Behaviour Analyst, you’ll report to the Head of the Early Childhood Supports team in Victoria and work as part of a multi-skilled team.

What you'll do

  • Provide individualised assessments to new participants through effectively identifying the most suitable assessment option, based on differing participant needs.
  • Work in collaboration with participants, parents/guardians and other stakeholders to deliver therapeutic supports and ensure the best possible outcomes for participants, families and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver person and family-centred practice and provide neurodiversity-affirming intervention programs, while considering cultural diversity and other background complexities.
  • Analyse, interpret and share assessment results with parents/guardians, education professionals and other stakeholders in an easily understood format.
  • Supervise and coach Behaviour Therapists, including those working towards Behaviour Analyst certification.
  • With appropriate support and supervision, identify and develop other suitable support programs including internal referral programs.
Skills and Experiences:
What you’ll need

  • Successful completion of a relevant Master’s level coursework in the Behaviour Analytic field.
  • Active certification as one (or more) of the following: Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) with ABA Australia and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with the BACB.
  • Solid professional experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience providing behaviour analytic services to children and adolescents across a diverse range of situations and environments including the home and kindergarten.
  • High level oral and written English communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical documents in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated and effective time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supervising and supporting a team of Behaviour Therapists.
  • A valid driver’s licence and vehicle.
