YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Greet all guests as first point of contact with the hotel including opening doors, assisting guests/visitors entering and leaving the property
- Maintain and monitor personal and commercial traffic on property, including taxi’s, ride share, delivery and personal vehicles to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of traffic.
- Responsible for safely handling guests’ vehicles to ensure proper parking, securing, and handling of keys. Including following all applicable policies and procedures
- Maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
- Ensure that all guest inquiries are answered/ followed up including explaining property services and room features.
- Understand and satisfy all guest requests.
- Be familiar with local area, events and places of interest with being able to provide directions when requested.
- Maintain front entrance area by directing vehicles and pedestrian traffic.
- Must be compliant with all Hotel Emergency Procedures.
- Other reasonable duties as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience and skills
- Previous Bell Desk experience an asset
- Previous experience as Guest Service Agent preferred
- Previous customer service experience.
Complexity/Analysis:
- Excellent communication skills in both official languages (English & French).
- Must be committed to task completion.
- Superior service excellence skills to exceed guest expectations.
- Demonstrate a high degree of customer service skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the city and points of interest.
Other
- Must be able to lift/carry at least 50lbs.
- Must have a valid “G” driver’s license, valid in Ontario (Clean drivers abstract will be required).
- Must be able to stand for extended period of time
- Must be able to push and pull luggage carts and other equipment weighing up to 250lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays based on seniority/availability.
- Must be available for weekend shifts.
