About Us

Toodie’s Fine Jewelry is a family-owned and operated business proudly serving the South Shore since 1982. We’re known for our craftsmanship, honesty, and personal approach to customer service. Our in-house shop handles everything from engagement ring creation to heirloom restoration, using both traditional tools and modern technology.

We’re growing — and we’re looking for a talented Bench Jeweler to join our workshop and carry on our 40+ year legacy of fine craftsmanship.

What You’ll Do

• Perform jewelry repairs including ring sizing, soldering, stone setting, prong retipping, chain and clasp repairs, polishing, and refinishing.
• Work confidently with gold, platinum, silver, and modern alloys.
• Use laser welders and precision tools for delicate repair and restoration work.
• Fabricate, modify, and assemble custom jewelry pieces to design specifications.
• Inspect and evaluate incoming jobs to ensure accuracy and top-quality results.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Collaborate with our sales and design teams to deliver outstanding results for every client.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional bench jeweler experience.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of gemstones, metals, and jewelry construction.
• Comfort with tools such as torches, polishers, ultrasonic cleaners, and laser welders.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet turnaround deadlines.
• Integrity and respect for client property — every piece matters.

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

• CAD/CAM or wax carving
• Engraving or finishing work
