BER Assessor – Residential Energy Assessments

Salary: €40,000 per annum + Performance Bonus + Mileage Allowance

Location: Dublin & Surrounding Areas

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated BER Assessor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will carry out residential BER assessments across both existing dwellings and new-build properties, delivering high-quality assessments and energy advice to homeowners, developers, and construction professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct BER assessments for residential properties, including existing homes and new-build developments.
• Carry out site inspections and gather all required property data.
• Complete DEAP assessments and issue BER certificates in accordance with SEAI requirements.
• Provide practical energy-efficiency recommendations to homeowners and clients.
• Ensure accurate record keeping, documentation, and submission of assessments.
• Liaise professionally with homeowners, builders, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain a high standard of quality, accuracy, and customer service.

Requirements

• Fully qualified and SEAI-registered BER Assessor.
• Strong understanding of DEAP and Irish Building Regulations, particularly Part L.
• Ability to manage assessments independently from site visit through to certification.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and customer-facing abilities.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Professional, reliable, and self-motivated approach to work.
