Salary: $50,000/yr

As an important first line to our customers, you will be responsible to deliver exceptional customer service by understanding and fulfilling our customers everyday mortgage needs through a variety of channels (inbound and outbound calls, email, chat).

About the role:

  • Maintain and build a positive customer experience by providing exceptional customer service
  • Adhere to verification processes to ensure protection of private information
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of mortgage products and services
  • Quickly and accurately complete transactions within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure documentation and guidelines of policy/procedure are followed, and capture detailed notes in customer files
  • Manage and resolve customer concerns or issues
  • Promote and support customers with our self-serve Customer Portal (i.e., registration, navigation, password management)
  • Ensure adherence to schedules to support team coverage
  • Collaborate with, and connect customers to specialized departments, as necessary

This role is for you if you have:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business an asset
  • 1 - 2 years in residential mortgage administration or financial services
  • 1 – 2 years in customer service
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and other office applications
  • Bilingual (English and French) both verbal and written
  • Call Centre experience an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building and listening skills; ability to defuse conflict when needed
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrates professionalism, judgment, and integrity in daily operations
  • Has proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Strong computer and digital literacy skills, ability to work on multiple systems at one time
  • High attention to detail
