Key Responsibilities:
- Empower Independence: Support individuals in everyday activities at home and in the community, helping them build skills and confidence.
- Facilitate Essential Activities: Assist with grocery shopping, doctor's appointments, and other outings, providing transportation and companionship.
- Personalized Goal Achievement: Collaborate with individuals to implement support strategies that align with their interests and personal goals, including physical activities and community engagement.
- Navigate Systems Together: Aid individuals in completing housing applications and accessing government assistance programs.
- Support Financial Management: Help with monthly budgeting and effective household management for daily necessities.
- Document Progress: Complete and submit accurate daily progress notes to track each individual's growth and development.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant community-based experience.
- Bilingual: Must be fluent in Spanish and English!
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and active car insurance are required, with a willingness to drive individuals in your personal vehicle.
- Availability: Must be available to work at least 4 hours per day between 8 AM and 5 PM, with flexible hours/days.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
