Job description
We are seeking a Billing Specialists, to join our Accounts Receivable and Finance team. This person will be responsible for accurately managing invoicing and payments for work orders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be highly detail-oriented, and be customer service focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and submit invoices for work completed for several customer accounts
- Ensure all invoices accurately reflect the customer’s purchase order/agreement
- Process invoices and payments for extra work completed outside of the standard scope
- Review customer’s software for purchase orders and back charges and update internal software
- Work with field superintendents to verify invoices, back charges and other discrepancies
- Follow up and report weekly on status of outstanding invoices and payments
- Assist with projects and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or similar data entry positions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work with high levels of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and Sage
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Compensation:
- Compensation based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
