What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a biomedical electromechanical technician who is passionate about medical technology, detail-oriented, methodical, and committed to quality. You are autonomous but enjoy teamwork, and you interact professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds. You are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow in a demanding technical environment. A strong awareness of health, research, and safety issues is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on biomedical electromechanical equipment.
  • Conduct calibrations according to established procedures and standards.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of specialized medical equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on various electromechanical medical devices.
  • Accurately document all interventions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide professional, safe, and reliable service to a diverse clientele.

Profile

  • DEP or DEC in biomedical electromechanics, biomedical instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (healthcare, pharmaceutical, research, or academic).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, Health Canada regulations, GMP/GLP (an asset).
  • Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to various environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
