Sodexo’s growing Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician 3 to support Healthcare Technology Management services at Lowell General Hospital located in Lowell, MA.
The main role/responsibilities of the Biomedical Equipment Technician 3 will be to ensure all related biomedical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, strong technical skills and a commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner.
Perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment functionality and patient safety.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance testing.
Provide timely and efficient service while prioritizing urgent repair needs.
Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment issues and deliver excellent customer support.
Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to healthcare technology management.

- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Prior experience with Philips monitoring systems, anesthesia equipment, defibrillators, and injectors is preferred but not mandatory.
- The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices.
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.
