Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Bcba)

Essential Speech and ABA Therapy, a leading provider in comprehensive ABA therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy, is opening a new privately-owned franchise clinic in Katy, TX (Near Fulshear, TX)! We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions to children ages 18 months to 6 years old on the autism spectrum.

We are looking for a passionate, organized, enthusiastic, clinically experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst who is seeking full-time employment to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a BCBA to learn more about starting a business in the field while working collaboratively with a team to support this process. This will be a new site, so we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will work with our team to build up a caseload and support the clinical quality of a new center. This role will require both clinical and leadership excellence. If you are ready to join a collaborative, integrated therapy team, this position is for you!

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform Assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland-3, etc.)
  • Create Individualized, research-based client programs
  • Analyze client progress and update programs as needed
  • Weekly parent training meetings to provide family guidance
  • Supervise Interns and RBTs in-center.
  • Weekly staff meetings and quarterly in-service training
  • Insurance correspondence (pre-auth requests)
  • Safety Management
  • Providing 30+ treatment hours per week for your clients.
  • Support a caseload of 8-12 comprehensive clients with the support of a BCaBA or Lead RBT
  • Work collaboratively with the owner of this site and the office manager to support clients and families.
  • Coordinate care with in-house speech and OT providers.

Qualifications:

  • BACB Certification
  • BLS / CPR certification
  • No criminal background
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of behavioral theory and applied behavior analysis
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.

Salary: $85,000.00+ Based on experience.
