Melbourne Girls Grammar is an independent school just a stone’s throw from the city and is the only private boarding school in the heart of Melbourne. Located on the edge of the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Yarra River, the School is within easy walking distance to Melbourne’s CBD including the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), Flinders Street Station and Federation Square.

‘Every Student – Every Day’ is the foundation upon which all of our wellbeing structures and supports are based. The Boarding House exists only to provide access to a valuable education that would otherwise be inaccessible. We are a well-resourced residence and we are proud of our ability to be responsive to the individual, the cohort and ever-changing needs of today’s youth.

Our academic and residential boarding school routines are designed to best suit adolescent girls within a community living environment. Boarding school students learn to be accountable for managing their own life. In practical terms, this provides preparation for adult life after school.

We invite applications from warm, friendly, organised and committed individuals for a number of part time residential Boarding House Supervisor roles. These roles include supervising, guiding and supporting boarding students from Years 7 to 12, as well as running activities, transporting students, maintaining areas of the Boarding House and some light administration.
