We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Assist in the restoration and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete various tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and assisting with their needs.
• Support mechanics in assembling parts and performing repairs on vehicles.
• Work with sheet metal and auto glass as needed, demonstrating proficiency in these areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• Experience with power tools is essential; familiarity with automotive tools is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills to enhance client interactions.
• Knowledge of auto restoration processes or experience working in a dealership setting is preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills, including vehicle maintenance and assembly tasks.
• Ability to weld or work with sheet metal is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques in the automotive field.
• Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $17.59 - $18.44 per hour
